The intent of this assignment is to hire two service providers for the same assignment (1st rank & 2nd rank). The assignment is to enable the Traffic Modelling & Analysis Section to acquire Traffic Engineering consultant on retainer services, in completing day-to-day assignments and highly specialized assignments including peer reviews of projects of a complex and/or sensitive nature. The assignment is primarily for the application of traffic analysis and traffic simulations modelling tools for:
•Traffic management including traffic analysis of construction staging schemes.
• Traffic operational performance reviews and recommendations for improvements.
• Capacity and weaving analysis, benefit / cost analysis.
• Recommendations for safety improvements.
• Evaluating Preliminary highway design including geometric options.
• Specialized traffic engineering studies.
• Tolling Evaluation and Analysis.
