This assignment is for contract administration services and deliverables for work involving grading, granular, drainage, electrical, ATMS, sign structures, concrete pavement rehabilitation, hot mix paving, and structure rehabilitation work.
• The work is to be performed over approximately four (4) construction seasons involving traffic lane staging on mainline, structures, and ramps with sub-stages in each of the seasons, maintaining the same number of existing lanes, and where work is expected to continue 24 hours for a period.
• Construction of 3 new bridges at Hwy 401 EBC / Leslie Street Interchange at 401 EB Collector and rehabilitation of one (1) structure as per below:
Hwy 401 Overhead at GO/Metrolinx EB Collector (37X-0206/B1)
Hwy 401 Overpass at Leslie St. EB Collector (37X-0208/B1)
Hwy 401 Bridge at Don River East Branch EB Collector (37X-207/B1)
Rehabilitation of 1 bridge at Hwy 401 Overpass at EB Core to Don Valley SB Ramp (37X-0322/B1).
CA Team Experience/Qualifications
As a minimum, the Project Manager for this assignment must have demonstrated experience as a Project Manager on four (4) or more similar MTO or municipal construction projects or equivalent, with at least 2 having a value of at least $40,000,000.00.
As a minimum, the Contract Administrator for this assignment must have demonstrated experience as a Contract Administrator on four (4) or more similar MTO or municipal construction projects or equivalent with at least two (2) having had a value of at least $40,000,000.00.
As a minimum, the Assistant Contract Administrator for this assignment must have demonstrated experience as a Contract Administrator on two (2) or more similar MTO or municipal construction projects or equivalent with at least one (1) having had a value of at least $20,000,000.00. OR
Demonstrated experience as an Assistant Contract Administrator on three (3) or more similar MTO or municipal construction projects or equivalent with at least two (2) having had a value of at least $20,000,000.00.

As a minimum, the Office Administrator/Sr. Inspector for this assignment must have demonstrated experience in the role on four (4) or more similar MTO or municipal construction projects or equivalent, with at least two (2) having a value of at least $25,000,000.00. Previous quality control monitoring experience will be an asset.
Specialty services for Structural (general inspection, steel Inspection, NDT testing, and steel coatings), FWD Testing, Foundations, ATMS, and Electrical will be required to meet the CA requirements during this assignment. Qualification requirements regarding the specialty services will be provided to short-listed EOI proponents in the Request for Proposal (RFP) procurement stage.
