This Assignment includes Total Project Management (TPM) for all engineering work that is required for the detail design and preparation of up to 2 separate contract packages for the pavement rehabilitation and structural rehabilitation of Highway 401 in the Region of Durham and City of Toronto. The project limits are approximately 100 m east of Whites Roads to 300 m east of Neilson Road. The project will involve the rehabilitation of the westbound express and collector pavement, crossing roads, ramps and the replacement or rehabilitation of various highway features such as, but not limited to, roadside safety hardware, concrete barriers, illumination systems, traffic signal replacement, upgrading of existing HML, structural retaining walls, revisions to existing drainage system, overhead and ground mounted signs. The rehabilitation design for the westbound Highway 401 shall also include any detail design, survey, field investigation as needed on crossing roads and Highway 401 eastbound express and collectors to facilitate the staging of the westbound core and collector rehabilitation. The following structures are included as part of the scope of work:
• Morningside Avenue (37-220),
• Morningside collector ramp (37-1528),
• Conlins Road (37-221),
• Hwy 401 overpass at Hwy 2 (37-902/2 and 37-902/4),
• Hwy 401 overpass at Hwy 2A (37-903/2 and 37-903/4),
• Rouge River (22-161/2 and 22-161/4) and
• Rougemount Drive (22-162)
